Keratin Treatment Steps
Step 1
Wash the hair with clarifying shampoo to remove residues. Towel dry and blow dry 70% with a paddle brush.

Step 2
Apply a small amount of Keratin treatment and leave for 30 minutes to bond with hair. Do not saturate the hair, apply a thin layer only.

Step 3
Blow-dry the hair 100% and start with the hair straightener at 230° C (480° F). Repeat each section to render the smooth result.

Step 4
Wash the hair immediately or wait up to 48 hours for the first wash, but the longer it's left before the first wash, the stronger the bonding on the hair.

Use Sulphate Free Shampoo only
Step 5
Use a Salt and sulphate-free shampoo and conditioner to wash the treated hair. Use Argan oil to keep your hair soft & protected.

Active Ingredients: Glyoxyloyl keratin amino acids. Requires a skin test patch 24 hours before treatment.
Warning: Avoid contact with eyes and wash immediately with plenty of water and contact your GP.
Irritation: Apply a small amount of treatment and blow-dry away from the face.
Does Extreme Keratin Contain Formaldehyde or Aldehyde?
No, it works with Glyoxyloyl acids.
Does Keratin treatment change my hair colour?
No, but 230° C heat from the straightening step might break low-fidelity hair colour.
Why did the smooth result not last?
Culprits are straighteners lower than 230° C or hair washed with a shampoo containing Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) ingredient.
